No Smoking Signs

No smoking signs are used in a variety of situations where smoking is prohibited.  In the case of restaurants, bars, office buildings, government buildings, and even jails in some states, and certainly many other places in the world, smoking is prohibited by law. 

No smoking signs, while most people already know there is no smoking permitted in these places, but it may be required by the same laws that signs be posted indicating that the area is a non-smoking area.  In the event where a law isn’t applicable, but persons going in and out of an area would prefer, by majority, that there is no smoking,  such as an outdoor festival where children are present, no smoking signs may be present as a courtesy.  

Finally, there are some situations where no smoking is permitted because of the fact there are heat and/or fire sensitive chemicals and equipment about.  These are often present in places such as gas stations and labs where chemicals are used constantly such as a photo lab.  No smoking signs should be bright and visible to all persons who may want to smoke, but shouldn’t in any given area.

Smoking Permitted Signs

Conversely, there may be areas where smoking is largely prohibited but there are smoking areas provided for people who smoke.  Examples might be a certain section outside an office or government building where employees and visitors can go to smoke. 

The same areas will generally be present at bars and restaurants in an area outside.  It is always a good idea to indicate these areas with visible signs to ensure people only smoke in areas that you deem safe or courteous for the other visitors and workers who do not smoke.

Our smoking area signs all come with an overlay to protect against the weather and other harsh conditions.  In addition to this, we have two separate order fulfillment options for you to start with.  If you are going to order 100 or fewer signs, they will be digitally printed. 

If you have an order of 100+ signs then you will need to give us a call for pricing since they will be screen printed.  All of our signs come with radius corners.  If you go with a vinyl sign we will apply an adhesive backing to it for mounting, otherwise we will drill 4 mounting holes at the corners for you.  We have a number of other material options for you to choose from, as well – you are not limited to vinyl.
